Benjamin John Simmons

Born April 01, 1846 - Died October 25, 1913

Born in Twiggs County Georgia.
He enlisted in the Confederate Army at Lake Butler Florida and was assigned to Captain Williams 2nd Florida Infantry. Discharged May 04 1885 near Olustee Florida when General Lee surrendered. Injuries as a result of battle included Left arm and forearm shot off and blinded in his right eye.
